Note: You should learn this on a slippery floor in stocking feet. (Hold on to the kitchen counter with one hand).

SLIDE RIGHT BACKWARDS, POP RIGHT KNEE

• With weight on left foot, both knees locked straight, slide right foot back keeping right knee straight and right heel and toe touching the floor

• * Stop sliding right foot, pop right knee out and lift right heel at the same time. Hold right foot and knee in this position. Put weight on right foot. On repeat, straighten and lock left knee.

SLIDE LEFT BACKWARDS, POP LEFT KNEE

• Keeping left knee locked straight with left toe and heel touching the floor, slide left foot backwards.

The events in the following step must occur simultaneously:
• Stop sliding left foot, pop left knee, raise left heel, straighten right knee, place right heel on floor, put weight on left foot.

• Keeping right knee locked straight with right toe and heel touching the floor, slide right foot backwards.
